Known for her strong leadership, innovative vision, and strategic management skills, Hasanlı has made significant contributions to the advancement and implementation of international education standards in Azerbaijan. As CEO of BMEC, she has played a key role in enhancing the school’s international profile. Under her leadership, the institution received official accreditation as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School on June 26, 2023. The school operates as a co-educational day school offering instruction in both English and Azerbaijani. Students follow the IB curriculum, which includes subjects such as mathematics, biology, physics, Spanish, German, and Russian. Aysel Hasanlı places particular importance on international academic cooperation. Through strategic partnerships with universities—especially in Italy—she has facilitated global educational opportunities for both students and educators. In her role on the ITECX organizing committees, she takes an active part in the planning and execution of international academic congresses, leading efforts to foster sustainable, high-quality, and multicultural collaborations in the field of education.
