The Fibonacci Mathematics Olympiads, based in Rome, Italy, are a prestigious international competition designed to encourage excellence in mathematics among students worldwide. This Olympiad organizes regional qualifiers across the globe, ensuring a broad participant base. Students who excel in these regional rounds qualify for the final eliminations based on their performance percentages.
The question bank is curated by expert academicians from Turkey, Italy, America, and Finland. This ensures the diversity and standard of the questions are of international caliber, thoroughly testing the participants’ analytical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning skills at the highest level.

Stage One: Local Round
Students participating in the local round are assessed based on their performance ranking. Those who rank within the top 40% percentile qualify to advance to the global second round. Additionally, students in grades 10, 11, and 12 who rank within the top 1% percentile are granted the opportunity to receive admissions from prestigious universities abroad. This serves as a significant gateway for students to pursue academic careers internationally.
Stage Two: Global Round
The global round offers notable awards, particularly for final-year students. Final-year students who rank within the top 1% percentile and achieve a perfect score are awarded scholarships from various universities. These scholarships vary in rate, ranging from 100% to 10%, depending on the policies of the admitting universities. The validity of these scholarships is contingent upon students fulfilling the language proficiency requirements set by the universities. Examinations are held at testing centers located in Italy, the USA, Dubai, and Antalya (Turkey). Furthermore, students in grade 10 and below who rank within the top 1% percentile earn the right to participate in a one-week international exchange program organized by Fibonacci International. This program offers students the opportunity to experience diverse cultures and education systems. Accommodation and tuition fees during the program are fully covered by Fibonacci. With this structure, the competition not only rewards academic excellence but also supports students in gaining international experience and building a strong
foundation for their future careers.
